I’ve always been captivated by wildlife, the way each creature lives so fully in the present, offering unconditional love and a joy that touches my heart. There’s a profound bond I feel with these beings, their wild freedom and their gentle trust in us.
Over the years, our garden has become a sanctuary where various wild animals have found refuge. We’ve rescued many, nursed them back to strength, and grieved those we couldn’t save. Each encounter has left an indelible mark on my soul, and through my Wildlife Collection, I seek to honor their fleeting presence.
I love to work instinctively with watercolor, pen, pencil and pastel, letting the mediums flow as freely as the creatures themselves. The washes soften into light and shadow, while pencil lines trace the delicate fur, feather, and form.
